(Nice Avatar by the way)

Scott Pilgrim came out back in August lol - unless you're speaking about looking forward to the DVD?

It was a FANTASTIC movie; clearly cult classic material! =P

The movie was decent, but the movie sucks compared to the comics. Reading some of the comics made the movie suck for me.

Yeah, it just came out here in Germany (stupid army) and I LOVED IT but now I need to read the comics. I heard they left out a ton at the end... also I want to see if there really is an arcade game like the ninja one they were playing...

Yeah, reading the first 3 books and looking at some stuff they did leave out a lot from the movies, but considering the fact the books are pretty long and there's a LOT of character development for just about everyone, it was needed. I think they did a pretty good job of leaving out some scenes while retaining the main plot (because if you know the books, Scott is actually a bad guy in some occasions, which probably would've added another 30-60 minutes to the movie to explain him).

I thought it was a good movie, but I think they made Scott a bit too much of a wuss. Sure he can fight and all, but he doesn't seem like he has the upbeat "bring it on!" personality. Same for Ramona, who seems a bit too serious compared to her cheerier comic counterpart, but oh well, otherwise its good

Yeah, she seemed kinda emo almost, and it kinda got on my nerves that this nredy canadian guy can suddenly break out these amazing fighting skills that were never explained in any way.

Actually I think they were hinting that Scott knew how to fight by playing that ninja game in the arcade. There's a better reason in the books, but that kinda spoils a little bit

Personally I don't care, but I bet our friend SCK does... Plus it could have been a lot more obvious.

Yup, it does sound like something I'd care of. Like said, I still haven't actually seen the movie, but it does sound like something that would bug me a little, even if the ninja game was there to hint of it. pirat Say, my dear pal called Al, care to spoiler me a bit and tell me how come he can fight?
