Hm. Once again. I restructured the RP section. Also, for future references - all site related activity will be done in this topic.
Moving on:
The RP section (Category) has been renamed. It is now known as: "Game Corner." Why? Simple - there will no be two different type of RPs on Sammich - each with their own respective subforums.
The "Role Play" forum now encompasses all of the old RP forums (Sign-Up, Start-Up, and Private). These will be for regular sized RPs. The term regular seems out of place - so let me put it into context:
The new RP section (Category), which hasn't been built yet, will be for Mega Sized RPs. More than likely mimicking the mechanics of a large scale forum RPG.
As in, there will be a single RP for the entire Category, which will be cycled occasionally depending on interest and activity of the current RP. There will be a "Independent" RP Forum, for RPers to post topics for their individual characters - in which, they will document their character's progression however they please: expand on history, document your characters venturing, etc.
(Mind you - 1 topic per character. Multiple Topics by 1 user is allowed.)
Then there will be a "Collaboration" RP Forum, for RPers to group up and post in topics to progress with each other and move the story along as a whole.
This split allows for RPers to post on their own time and doesn't stop progression as a whole too much. RPers can choose who they RP with in collabs naturally (Contact through pm or other means) - but don't let snobbishness limit the growth of the RP.
As of the moment in time, the current Mega Sized RP (Name will change... as Mega Sized sounds corny) is the Shinobi RP - a reboot one of the smaller RPs. The new RP category will be up soon - I just need to attend my job interview first.
