Favorite/Best Espada

Choose which is your favorite Espada, then explain why he or she is your favorite.

I chose Ulquiorra, due to the fact that he has two transformations, looks extremely badass, and any guy who can make a green spear appear out of thin air and create a giant nuclear explosion with it has a place in my heart lmao.

I chose Ulquiorra (LIKE DUH! - Obvious choice from my past affiliation)

He's my choice because he's honestly one of the few antagonists I know that killed the main protagonist of a story; not once but twice! So that fact itself makes him badass. Like... on the level of Chuck Norris badass - just with black ceros.

Also, in comparison to the other espada, he was the most gray in terms of affiliation. At first he seemed to be Aizen's right hand hollow - but as time went on, Ulquiorra not only had secrets (or he thought he did) but he had a fondness for his opponents. Orihime and Ichigo especially...

And as a character, I'm always intrigued. "Nihilism" is written all over the guy, and he just seems... I dunno. Perfect. It's hard to explain - but he's just a really interesting character.

AND FOR PEEP'S SAKE - HE KILLED ICHIGO TWICE?! Who can top that? Aizen? GTFO of here! lmao

Not to mention he has instantaneous regeneration (As far as limbs go)
Nuclear Cero, Two release forms, and is completely merciless...
But I like him mostly bcuz of his badass tail

Well, I picked Grimmjaw. He needs love too.

Grimmjow is one of my favorite characters as well,
but I have to pick Ulquiorra.
Due to all the listed traits above, and:
He managed to (brutally mind you) killed the show's main character
in a very epic fight; really the only reason he lost
was because Ichigo had plotkai on his side.

It's gotta be Ulquiorra.

Pretty much what everyone has already said. I loved how he had a power hidden from Aizen, and that had that power been calculated in, he might have been a lower number. I also liked how he was so calm.

I almost got the feeling that, had he survived, he may even have helped Ichigo + crew. Probably not, but he didn't really seem to be against them anymore. I also wondered whether or not he had planned for Ichigo's transformation...
