After the site restructure, the "Hi, I'm new" section was destroyed.

It was a dead section after all, as we all know each other. Even if we get a new member every now and then... it just took up space.

Soooo. Let's just use a single never ending topic for people new to Sammich - and people who want to announce departures. Or "modestly" announce their returns lol
