no idea about this RP you were talking about it being a spoiler to... but nice job, what I think you can work on is the back ground, they often seem plane, I like the one in a Dojo though. or what ever that was with the paper walls, Japanese loft?

ah tis true, my art suffers without people to look at it...
I have long been waiting for a couple to get to posting.
They are only making it worse on themselves for not doing so
sooner, for the art will keep pilling up. *shrugs*


Anyway, as for the backgrounds, I find myself not
very good at creating them therefore I try to avoid them.
Its a fault of mine but I may correct it in the future if
I get in more study of landscapes and whatnot...again
no promises though seeing as that is my weakest area
concerning art.

As for that background you mentioned RR, that is just a
small japanese room, probably found in a hotspring. Also
the spoiler pertains to the pk rp, the silver haired gentleman
is Dantes the Great in the arms of Lady Mysteria; my newest addition
to the dwindling story.

Not a big Bleach fan, but that's a sweetly sad story-blurb (and of course, a good drawing as well); well done!

Thanks doc, though it's a shame you don't like bleach. The basic concepts of
it and the majority of the storyline I find are well worth reading, but tis just a
matter of opinion and taste.

I must say, the background on this took awhile this morning but it was
well worth the effort. I finally made a decent background completely from
scratch- no filters nor cheat lines, all this entailed was the gradient tool and brushes.
^^

nice work. if you want to advance your background further you could try putting in little things, like a mushroom here or there.

I'm glad the forest looked well and you have a point RR,
moss, mushrooms, dirt etc all would have helped.
My main concerns with this one were the trees and ground.

Sorry about my absence for the last few days...
Dragon Age has arrived and thus my soul is gone.

As a side effect of that theft, my art has done the
unthinkable- i have attempted to draw an existing
character that was not of my own creation. I drew Anders,
a mage within the game I have been consumed by. He is
by far my favorite character in the series besides those
of my own creation.

I know I did not capture his likeness very well but
I still like this picture enough to post it.

okay normally I'm a very critical person but this one blew me away. I really like this piece, the detail and all.

I like it, but the fingers in his right hand see long... so now I want to try out that dragon age you were talking about...

I really like the game and I nearly have it beaten...alas, I had to return
to school so I had to leave it behind- much to akira's delight...
